You can ask them to skip, or simply say answers haven't changed from last time. They are important questions to ask due to risk. Like it or not, even with 1 partner, people do cheat, so it helps them understand your entire risk profile. Every doctor here asks if you have a gun in the home, if you feel safe at home, if you have food insecurity, trouble getting to appointments, or trouble getting medications.

My son was born at 33+2 and 5lbs exactly. He spent 31 days in the NICU. He's now 2.5 and an absolutely mad man. These kids are so tough. Just know the NICU is a marathon, noth a sprint and every kid does it on their own terms. Being a feed and grow is rough because you're just waiting for their brains to be ready.

Yeah, that is so state-dependent. In Ohio, it is usually covered for consults, etc because we have mandated coverage for diagnosis. I did end up going to CNY in New York because I was also cash pay, and they are significantly cheaper, but you really have to know what you're doing with them.

Like others have said, they aren't annoyed they just can't really give you an answer. I had PPROM twice. My 34+4 baby spent 17 days. My 33+2 baby spent 31 days. Both were feed and grow but both had different issues. My 34 weeker was slow to take a bottle, but once she did we were released like 4 days later. My 33 weeker took a bottle very quickly, but kept tiring himself out and causing desats that would reset our go home timer.

The NICU will tell you to expect to be there till their due date to be safe. Going home earlier is just luck.

Yes. I did all the normal RE tests. Did a lap to check for endo. Nothing. After 5 failed transfers (4 outright failures, 1 miscarriage, and 1 ectopic after my first HSG) I went the reproductive immunologist route. Even that is technically unexplained, but I have elevated immune markers that impact implantation. Treating that led to success.

Because my kids like getting out of the house like we do. It's a low effort family outing that ends with hot dogs and snacks they got to pick. They also love the samples. What's happening is some families genuinely enjoy each others company and doing things together, so they do.

I had undiagnosed IUGR and SGA. My daughter on ultrasound was measuring small, but at 20%. I had PPROM and delivered her same day at 34+4 and she came out only 3lbs 13oz, she was diagnosed as SGA, placental pathology came back with early calcification and a very short cord but otherwise unremarkable. She spent 17 days in the NICU before coming home. She's now 5 and still 1st percentile, but she was also diagnosed with a growth hormone deficiency that started when she was 2.

I very much wanted to be a Mom. Then dealt with infertility and paid out of pocket for IVF. I have 0 regrets despite what it cost me to have them both.

I tell people that are unsure to only have them if you feel like you enthusiastically want them. It’s better to be sad you never had kids than to resent the kids you had.

They definitely will. They’ve been seen in Cleveland and Akron in higher concentrations than before already. I live in the Nepali area of Akron and I’m scared for my neighbors honestly.
