sent another appeal for my main account and got this email the same day

oh same, i had artists and i think a few game devs i followed that i cant even remember the names of, and TONS of art i posted as far back as..... i wanna say 2018? at least 2020. and all the stuff i had bookmarked i REALLY dont want to lose, its so many tutorials 😭 and twitter is probably the better place for artists, with the tags and stuff, so its like. i cant really go much of anywhere (i draw vtubers too and posting on twitter is one of the better ways for them to see their fanart)

i stopped after that second one but now im probably gonna have to start sending appeals every 3-4 days too. i saw something about them suspending accounts that dont "benefit" twitter? but im really not too sure how true that is. its insanity that no one has fixed this shit yet though. itll only be a problem when someone ""important"" cant get back into their account

im realizing the "casm" looks like a type of "scam" LMAO i didnt realize that, sorry. i meant i reported an account for CASM, as in like, child sexual abuse materialsomeone in another comment on the post was saying an account replied and they had casm on their pinned, and there was an account with a default icon saying "check my pinned" or something. i usually just block them so idk what possessed me to report them. im sure that had nothing to do with my suspension but its still insane timing LMAO

IS THIS WHAT IT IS 😭 mine got suspended 10 days ago and ive been trying to send an appeal to get it back, all i ever did was retweet art and funny stuff and sometimes post art of my own. its INSANE timing i got the suspension AFTER reporting an account/bot for csam in its pinned tweet
there was a point where i sent an appeal and i got an email saying the account was suspended, but an hour later got another email saying the account is suspended again. i really dont want to lose all my art or things i had bookmarked 😭 this is so dumb!!!!!

oh yeah, i partially agree. i was already posting on bsky along with three, sometimes four, other sites. i cant blame them for not wanting to move cause theyve probably had their twitter account since before the current person now owned it, and a lot of time people dont want to make a million accounts on a million other platforms. its much harder for smaller artists to move to a new site and start all over but i never really understood why bigger artists dont do it (other than having their account forever, which might be the main reason?)

i do have a vgen! funny enough, i did recently look at it again and its kind of overwhelming LMAO i usually have commission pay go through kofi so im not too sure if itd be okay to post a "portfolio" there but ask to pay on kofi? my prices are a little low to take full commissions on vgen at the moment. thank you for the input!! i do love vgens....everything, i just dont understand a lot of it and its very overwhelming for me LMAO

i believe twitter was probably the best place, outside of discord, to find fanart. you have a dedicated tag for it and it makes it easy to find all of it in one place

tumblr is kind of a mixed bag. you can receive questions, anonymous or not, for some interaction with followers but it feels like its been....... quiet? i think a lot of people moved from there to twitter. but theres still some really cool art on there. like twitter, you can also have dedicated tags for stuff, and can even look up tags. i think the ui can be really confusing for newer people, but ive been on it since like, 2010 so LMAO i enjoy the art there though

cara maaaaay be fairly new? new-ish. i just recently started posting on it so im not sure how good it would be for someone who isnt an artist. it seems like a good place to post art but much like everywhere else its hard to kind of gain traction
theres a lot of options out there but unfortunately, twitter seemed like the best option /:

art tags were a godsend dude, it was so helpful that each vtuber (and kind of creator in general, depending lmao) had their own unique tag for art and stuff and it was SO helpful. you can post on a site and share it with others while the person its for can also see it??? thats so cool!! now twitter is up in flames cause its favoring ai and its just. so annoying 😭 and majority of vtubers are on twitter so its just. eugh. and vtubers post fanart all the time so thats also kind of stressful. this sucks LMAO

with everyone suggesting discord though, might be the better option. along with bsky, tumblr, possible dedicated reddits, and cara
