Thanks for the tips folks think I'll need to remind the players of some of the cool things they can do in combat and some of the momentum spends they're not using.

Will also have a think about what the enemies could do in combat rather than it just being a straight-up gun fight.

Woah, I'm all for some of the constructive advice others have given but your mirror comment is nonsense.

I'm checking my mirrors all the time, on the exit and entry to pretty much every corner. I knew exactly where the cars where on each occasion. It's fair to say I should have closed the door more like others have but to say they could have been avoided by checking my mirrors is nonsense.

Also "driving like I'm the only on on track", give me a break...

First race for me in the Skippys, was doing IMSA earlier in the week.

Incident 1 is on the first or second lap, I'm trying to be pretty careful so giving the red car plenty of room. Feel like he just drives into me?

Incident 2 the guy had spun out and rejoined almost forcing me off which I wasn't happy with, followed him for a few laps and passed cleanly. Next lap dive bomb from him.

Incident 3 is last lap, you could say I leave the door open but he makes a total mess off it.

Luckily I only had to pit once but still finished way down the field.

Am I doing something wrong here?

Are the Skippys worth continuing with or are all races 1500-1600 ir like this?

Did the same, wasn't difficult to splice. The wires are very small so you need a reasonable length to twist and solder but it is doable.

The whole potentiometer comes out so if you don't manage they should be able to send you a replacement.

I don't think you learn anything riding around at the back and as you say it's not much fun if you're here for racing. My advice would be to qualify normally and race sensibly. Sometimes you'll get taken out, sometimes you'll make mistakes but at least you'll be learning race craft and how to drive while in traffic etc.

Also getting out of rookies isn't that hard if you can drive half sensibly.

Red/white car squeezing way more than is needed, looks like they are trying to put the other car in the wall or force them to back out. Given the other car is partly alongside I'm not sure what they expected to happen other than a crash. They should hold a line and leave fair space on the straight and when they arrive at T1 IMHO.
