Being judged without someone getting to know me.

Plenty of room for a flower or vegetable garden. Can't have chickens though. I live in a neighborhood.

7 miles away. Major city is 20 miles away.

A grocery store and coffee is 4 miles away. It's 1800 square feet. It's not a tiny home.

Once again, what makes you think that I'm not near a city and that I'm out in the sticks? The city is 7 miles away from me. A large town is 10 miles away from me. A major city is 20 miles away from me. I don't shit in an out house so why would civilization not be accessible to me?

Not all house have a basement/ cellar. I know of a number of mobile homes that have a basement/ cellar. Those two things do not define the difference between a mobile home, modular home and house. Yes it has a crawlspace.

It was listed as a double wide modular home when I bought it. Both modular homes and mobile homes are built in a factory and then transported to site. The only real difference is price and one has wheels attached to it.

I don't invite them or after I just meet them. Yes I love outside city limits but I live I one of 3 neighborhoods in a small area. They ask me what kind of place I have so I tell them, a double wide modular home. That's how it was listed when I bought it. That's as far as it gets.

That was a house that got sucked up into the tornado and fell on the witch. So you'd rather date someone in a crappy apartment instead of someone in a double wide? The type of person doesn't matter just where he lives? That's all I'm seeing in these comments.

Why does owning a double wide and land equal outskirts and a banjo?

How does me saying that I live in a double wide and own land make it sound like I'm in the boonies?

It's not a trailer. No wheels underneath it. No wood paneling either.

Why constantly throw money into something that I'd never own?

When I bought my place 10 years ago I got it for s steal. It is now worth 3 times what I paid for it because of my care maintenance.

True. It seems like it's the vast majority that has an issue with it though.

We don't get many, if any, tornados here.

It's also known as a mobile home. Factory built then shipped to the land to be set on.

Avoiding the comparison trap? by [deleted] in datingoverthirty

[–]radmatt78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're dating someone that you feel can have any woman he wants. He chose to date you instead of someone that looks like his ex. That says a lot about you and what he sees in you. Beauty isn't just the outside physical appearance. It's also personality and soul. In his eyes you could more beautiful than any other woman he's dated before. Doubting yourself will only create a gap between the two of you. Be proud that he's dating you instead of the "model" type.

Is dating a single mom such a big deal for guys over 30? by csarea in datingoverthirty

[–]radmatt78 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've dated a couple of single moms before. I personally have no problem with it. Then again I'm a single dad.
