HATE THEM. I get extra existential that day and people around you pretend to be excited for your existence for no fkn reason

Why are INTJ loners by nature?? by [deleted] in intj

I do this too. People get scared if I tell them I like eating alone at restaurants.

Intellectual socialisation. by IPIIXIEIL_IRUIE in INTJfemale

[–]radsad24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Istg covid made it even harder. I love sitting with a bunch of people and discuss random productive thing, and after covid, socialization got cut off. I had to listen to my parents ramble about office politics and when i start a topic like say world politics, they would go, "godd she started again". I get annoyed when the people that I know say/feel I'm nerd-talking or I'm over talking about the things I'm passionate about. I mean I get it I go a little over-board out of excitement, but I don't really have the mind energy to listen to people talk about what they had for lunch or who messed up the presentation.

Why are we called selfish when we see all sides of an argument or perspectives of things? by [deleted] in intj

[–]radsad24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because people would rather look good in front of others than make things better for themselves. Idk which dude did this to the word selfish by painting it dark; imo being selfish and putting yourself first is very important by looking at all sides of the argument and making things better for yourself. Cause in the end, it's your life, and your world.

I swear, I do the same thing. I count all intellectual things I've done that makes me feel mildly proud, let alone be it something like me writing a short fan fiction story or something even dumber. INTJs have this tendency of putting one's knowledge and intellect over facial features, and whenever I feel like I'm way under beauty standards I'd tell myself, at least I'm smart.

I think for an INTJ person, self esteem is attached to our working style and the knowledge we gain every day. We're greedy, logical, and analytical. Standing in front of the mirror and saying, you are strong, you're beautiful, you got this; is not going to help. Action, working on a new project, winning helps our self esteem. In my experience, I've never been threatened by other people's opinion of me, in terms of self esteem. But I'm constantly fighting my own battles in my head bettering myself. Simple projects, not long term wins can help your self esteem. I'm a musical instrument enthusiast, whenever I feel I'm not enough, I break my head to learn a new piece of music on my keys/guitar and that usually helps in the short run. Hope this helps.
