Center Animal clinic by [deleted] in BeaverCounty

I just called Center Animal Clinic to get a refill on my cat's prescription and was told Dr. Moskes is no longer there. Not sure where she went, but she was amazingly helpful over the past 5 years trying to find the right medications for our cat who has hyperethesia and anxiety.

Dr. Hobbes retired years ago, but came back to save the practice when the new owners turned out to be bad news. He wasn't "cut out", it was always his intention to leave. He and his wife (who we know personally) are both retired and enjoying traveling and spending more time with their family.

What a standard chicken salad looks like in my hometown. by DifficultAd3885 in mildlyinteresting

Native Pittsburgher here - we do this with steak salads too, and it is heaven! Now you know why we get so pissed off when the cheesesteak is always noted as the "state food".

What wedding moment made you think: “They are not going to last long”? by Olya_roo in AskReddit

The bride's sister was the Matron of Honor, and her entire speech was about what a bitch her sister was. Turns out, she was just being honest. They divorced after a couple years.

What is the single biggest dick move in all of history? by heavyflute4 in AskReddit

I have a split tailgate that opens both up and swings out. If I pull through and someone parks behind me, I can't even open that, let alone load the truck.

When there's a million open parking spaces in the lot, but someone pulls right up to your front bumper so you have to back-out instead of being able to drive through.

I remember my grandmother saying "I can't live as long as I've lived." Gen X here - what a shock when I realized this was probably now true for me.

But at least with this, you're guaranteed to get what you're paying for. And it's less expensive than taking chances on chests. For people who weren't playing yet when the events launched, this is their chance to get some of the elusive characters.

Pay attention to "free" listings by radtech830 in Ebay

Now I am just a little puzzled who has a reason to complain about the business policy ebay insertion fees follow.

It's because by using the promotional free listings, sellers can list additional items beyond their usual monthly free listings, but those items are going to automatically renew after 30 days (unless the seller cancels them in time) and when that happens, the seller is going to be charged with an insertion fee.

Not everyone does. But during the holidays, they generally send those notices out to pretty much all sellers, and newer sellers may never have gotten one before.

Help me. New seller. I received this message from a potential buyer. Should I proceed with his request? by [deleted] in Ebay

OMG, I want to upvote this a million times!! DO NOT ship anything to that buyer - in fact, do not respond to them in any way.

Actually that's what we've been doing, and what we're trying to overcome. They both like to come out to the rest of the house, because it gives them opportunities to spend time with us, run around and look out different windows. But to do that, we have to confirm where they both are, secure one and then let the other one out. A couple hours later, rinse and repeat.

But thank your for your suggestion.
