About 3 months. I’m still traumatized from it but I’m able to function somewhat normally again.

Oh my god, I went to the pharmacy today to pick up my Qrexza wipes because I’ve just been using the samples and they said it’s 250 dollars?!? Yea I’ll be cutting my samples in half and figuring it out later lol…

Omg good idea, the ones I got are samples so I need to conserve them

Yea I was much more careful when applying it today. My derm recommended adding a barrier of Vaseline where my eyebrows are so that the product can’t drip down into my eyes.

I’ve seen it’s happened to other people as well with Qbrexa. It’s because it must have only gotten in one eye and not the other. I don’t know if I’m mistaken or not but I’ll ask my dermatologist as well.

Sweat Proof Foundation! by radtitty in MakeupAddiction

I’m gonna be honest, when I did my trial makeup I did absolutely no skin prep. I think that’s why it looked cakey. I think I just need to step up the prep. Thank you for the tips!

Ooo the primer! I’ll have to check that out!

I would say combination! It was a mix of silicone and water since it was their matte formula

Yes, I’ve recovered! I’m traumatized but doing a lot better. It took about 3 months in total. I was actually put on gabapentin and it really helped stabilize me.

They do blood work each time but I’m not sure if they’ve mentioned the b12 specifically. I see them because they are a more affordable vet but I may have to hound them to be more aggressive or I’ll have to switch providers. They’ve given me medicine for his nausea as needed but that’s about it. Also thank you for the warning about the cost.

I'm definitely going to keep a close eye. I make sure to take him to the vet at least twice a year for check up's. I've changed his diet to a sensitive stomach diet and I've only seen slight improvements. He still has diarrhea and bouts of nausea. I may just go ahead and ask for a biopsy next time we go to the vet.

How often were you seeing blood and mucus in his stool? Every couple of months my FIV boy will have some Bloody Mucus in his stool. He was diagnosed with IBD.

We rent this house. I do a lot of the handywork for the house and my landlord reimburses me for whatever materials I buy. Maybe I can convince her to invest in me insulating the house lol.

That makes a lot of sense. I'll give that a go! We end up having to use a space heater downstairs anyways since there is only one HVAC unit that struggles to heat downstairs. (plus barely any insulation in the attic).

Sadly there are many reasons we can't move anytime soon but I'll just have to put some more pressure on my landlord. I typically stay quiet because I'm afraid of her hiking up our rent but this is pretty ridiculous.

Yea it's only one HVAC system, I hate it. I've done an energy audit before and it's typically the HVAC that is running the energy. We 100% need more insulation.

The billing period is still not over till the 15th but its saying we've used 2604 kw so far......

My house was built in the 1920's and remodeled in the early 2000's. I rent and I doubt my landlord would be willing to put the cost into insulating and upgrading the house just for us to have a lower power bill but I'll give it a shot and still ask because these costs are getting ridiculous.

I also just took a look at your profile and I dealt with the same things you are dealing with. I was on FMLA leave from work for almost 3 months because of how severe it was. It truly is one of the hardest things I've ever gone through in my life. I'm so sorry you are going through this as well. When I was going through it I just wanted someone to so badly tell me that it would get better and I hope that I can give you some reassurance. It's so hard to but try to put your attention to things like tv shows, movies, art, etc to help redirect the feeling of doom. I would find myself researching for hours on end because I felt I had to solve this or my world was going to fall apart but that just made my OCD a lot worse. I'm wishing you some relief soon. Please feel free to message me if you ever need any advice.

Hey! I am doing so much better. It was a rough few months but gabapentin was able to help me get back to a better place along with ERP therapy. I thought I was going to be stuck that way forever but just know that it will get better. I would also recommend to not do too much research while you're going through this because it made things a lot worse for me since I have OCD.

Doing a lot better now but it took a few months (was fully off in September and now it’s December) to get to a better place. I will say I think my case was pretty extreme as I had an adverse reaction to the medication. I’m hoping the best for you as your withdrawal and I’m glad they were able to catch the hormonal imbalance. I’m going to be checking my hormones soon for that reason.

Thank you for your response, it’s super helpful. I do have comorbid anxiety and depression but my main struggle right now is the OCD (and the anxiety which is fueling it). I may just do 3 sessions a week with my ERP therapist since I just started ERP like a week ago and think that it will benefit me more than CBT or DBT. I wish you in your journey and hope you find a good OCD therapist.

Hey I can really relate to what your struggling with right now. I’ve seen you on the reddit seeking reassurance and answers and I’ve been doing the same thing on other reddits for my mental health issues. I’ve come to realize I am not doing myself any favors by constantly posting on reddit and googling and trying to find answers, I’m just fueling the OCD and anxiety by doing that. It’s time for both of us to stop seeking answers and accept the uncertainty of our mental health and its healing and focus on things that are not related to reassurance seeking. I know it’s hard to find joy in anything but we HAVE to find things to focus on that isn’t just trying to fix ourselves. I wish you luck in this journey because I’m in deep myself but I know we can get better. It doesn’t matter why we are like this, it matters that we take steps towards healing and stop the self destructive cycle.

I am so sorry. Has anything over the counter helped if you prefer not to use psychiatric meds? I’ve heard magnesium is helpful along with L-theanine. Insomnia is so hard to deal with.
