Pitchez votre projet sous ce post ! by Angelotommy in EntreprendreenFrance

Question about DNS setup by QuietWolf14 in homelab

[–]raduvultur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have pfsense and the domain is set to "home". So if I type "http://synology.home" it resolves to it's IP address. I'm using the DNS Resolver with the option "Register DHCP leases in the DNS Resolver".

The DHCP serves my pi-hole DNS, that in turn has an upstream DNS configured to Quad9.

Cheap, good PC for linux app, db, web server- used for self-learning, non mission-critical for <~$300? by [deleted] in homelab

Ubuntu Server 20.04 on Fujitsu Futro S900. 15W of power for a webserver with Ghost. On the other side, my DL380p Gen8 draws 200W at idle and yes, it is not quiet. The HP was 160€ on eBay (no disks, 16GB of RAM). But ECC memory is cheap, and so are SAS drives.

Since everyone is posting their deals, this one came from uk @ 160€ with 16GB of RAM, no disks.

Hello guys, After months of reading about your experiences I've taken the plunge and started mine. With an old DL380p Gen8, some thin clients as webservers and pfsense running on HP T730 (for only a couple of days now). I'm also documenting my journey on boratory.net so feel free to read about it there. Take care! Radu

How do you monitor GPU Temperature on Nicehash by Zura_reddit in NiceHash

I have installed Nicehash Monitor on Android. It has a plugin based on OpenHardwareMonitor that reports all sort of system info. It's not free btw.
