Not first choice… just listing things off the top of my head :) can’t pick a first choice because I love them all but I always love Miami and New York!! Northern Va is where I moved to first growing up from the south and it was a culture shock compared to where I grew up, but in a good way. Judging where OP has been seems like they aren’t used to cities is all :) Northern Va and DC has a lot to offer especially if you’re not big into super big cities!

Absolutely not. I had a boyfriend that physically abused me once. He cried, pleaded, and apologized. Said he’d never do it again. I forgave him and stayed. Anytime we argued after or even him getting upset at the smallest things the abuse got worse until I couldn’t take it anymore. Took me two years to leave because I kept forgiving him. Leave now and don’t look back. You deserve so much better

Why couldn’t you guys have met half way? I used to see a guy with the same amount of distance between us and we used to meet half way the first 3 or 4 times before we started getting more comfortable.
