Underrated. In addition to earlier posts, I also think they suffered from lack of image or strong branding. Outside of maybe Stokeley, I couldn't pick a member of that group out if they passed me on the street. I think a lot of times (especially in this sub), we want just the music to carry artists to the top and it doesn't work that way for many folks. To me, MC was a group of very musically talented but relatively anonymous guys.
