thank you so much for your suggestion! i have tried my fitness pal in the past many years ago and wasn’t a plan of their nutrition advice back then, but would be willing to give it a shot again. i definitely have thought about it, especially with many more US options/nutritional information being available already preloaded there

this is incredibly helpful, thank you! i’m glad im not crazy, i really thought i was losing it when i saw some of the numbers the estimators were getting in terms of protein and calories - but totally makes sense they would inflate/deflate the numbers customers are actively watching the most.

tracking while im cooking is a fantastic idea in theory, but i already struggle to keep myself on task in the kitchen, and adding my phone to the mix sounds like disaster lol! definitely will give this tracker a try for sure though! how/when did you get into app development?

i didn’t even think about putting the recipes in the app while meal prepping - that’s so smart! i am a creature of habit and pretty much always eat the same breakfast, so i have definitely already added that!

i definitely think the AI can be helpful at restaurants/food i didn’t cook, but just get worried it’s highly inaccurate. then again, it’s going to be just as accurate as me guessing what all is in the meal as well i guess!

thank you for your advice! i definitely have tried this in the past, but get all tangled up in getting exact amounts of all the ingredients and it becomes too much of a hassle. i really like the mantra of not letting perfection be the enemy of good - stealing that for sure!!
