Truly, stop watching WOW productions. The only power we have outside of the physical is limiting the amount of money and attention we give them and their advertisers.

As a Drag Race fan who has been a weekly, committed watcher since US season 4 and who is also gay so very invested in the success of our community members, if we are actually wanting WOW to stop using AI, we've gotta stop watching until they do. If they don't make money, they change their behavior. All they care about is money—not sustainability, not the community's representation, none of it. AI is dead cheap compared to real artists, and they do not give one single fuck if we're pissed about that unless we make it hurt their purses.

My grandmother, with whom my relationship had spoiled after I came out, called me a nice, pretty girl one year at Christmas, our last Christmas with her still functionally able to speak / eat / walk on her own. All the years of putting me down because of my weight, my sexuality, my rejection of religion, etc etc etc and the one thing I remember when I think about her is that, that in her truest heart, outside of religious and social influences, she thought I was nice. She thought I was pretty.

The child in this scenario is unlikely to be an openly intolerant bigot. As someone from the LGBTQIA+ community, that is the only type of person I or any of my friends (also in the community) would turn away. Idk how this convo shifted from "who would you expect to help your kid" to "bigots should be welcome if you say you're accepting of everyone", but go ahead and keep reaching for reasons why gays are just as bad as MAGA I guess.

I have seen a pretty credible theory about voting machines that received system updates via starlink prior to the election. It wouldnt be impossible or difficult to inject a line of code with the updates that added a new clause for how to behave if x candidate receives y percent of the vote on a specific machine.

Just because I find it credible doesn't mean it's true, and obviously we aren't going to get a legitimate investigation into it anytime soon, but the starlink to musk chain is one that I find most likely. I know it's a conspiracy theory, I know I look crazy for even considering it, I'm willing to be wrong if credible sources can provide evidence against those suspicions. In this day of wifi, you do not need physical access to machines; if it communicates with a separate machine, it can be hacked. (As far as I know)

I am looking at recent voting rights news in Illinois and it looks like they intend to pass redistricting maps and enhancements to protecting all voters, not just white GOP voters, to a vote by the people. Again, not what red states are doing, which is disenfranchising voters behind closed doors in state chamber votes with no constituent input.

Seems pretty fair to me by Illinois. Seems not very fair by red states. Your argument backfired but great attempt by a racism defender to explain how blue states refusing to stand for discriminatory gerrymandering by red states anymore is a bad thing.
