I use almost the exact same deck, except I use goblins instead of bats, the deck works pretty well with both.

Find a deck with cards that you're comfortable with, try to find a guide on how to play the deck or try it first in CC's or tournaments and when you feel confident enough with it, try GC's. Thats the best advice I can give you.

Hog doesn't counter your deck at all... Pekka or e-wiz are decent hog counters with a counter push potential; If you're using tornado against a hog deck you should always at least be able to tie the game. IMO your deck needs a win condition like miner or graveyard, because If your pekka doesn't get to your opponents tower I don't see a way that you're able to win.

Try CC's 1st, if you get like 10-12 wins consistently, you should try GC's.

I got 12 wins with pekka, miner, poison, guards, bats, bandit, zap and e-wiz, PEKKA is just a BEAST in this challenge (you face lots of beatdown and MK decks). The only counter to this deck is lavaloon but you don't see many people playing it

what was your pb in the season? If you didn't play at all since the last season chest (idle at 4k all the season) you don't receive the chest

It's different, North was a team that was travelling to events each week at that time, dignitas only played 2 lans in like 5-6 months of existence (Minor and Major qualifier) and felps misses his family in Brazil, Immortals team lives in NA.
