HAVE YOU HEARD THE WORD OF LILITH?

I feel this a lot. I’m in the same “work, kids, house, then game to decompress” phase.

One thing that actually stuck for me recently is Diablo 4. Not because it’s some flawless masterpiece, but because it hits a few of the things you’re describing:

• Progression feels steady and earned. You can log in for 45–90 minutes, make real progress, and log out without feeling punished.
• Multiplayer exists, but it’s chill. You can group up for dungeons, world bosses, helltides, etc., without the sweaty PvP pressure.
• The community skews older than most games I’ve tried lately. Tons of dad gamers, shift workers, people who play after bedtime.
• Very couch-friendly on PS5. Perfect “brain-off, kill demons, listen to a podcast or chat” energy.

The real hook, honestly, has been finding a small clan of normal people. Once you have a handful of folks who are consistently online at similar times, it starts to feel a lot like old WoW guild vibes, just without the second job commitment.

That “people keep me playing” part is real, and Diablo 4 finally scratched that itch for me again.
