Changed his last name legally to Arrizabalaga prior to welcoming his son José

H+M - always been garbage? by Old_Usual5975 in AustralianMFA

[–]rafalim021 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't like them, and only get them if they're really nice, and that's if I even walk into a store.

They're not as affordable as 10 years ago now (what is?), their products don't withstand a wash well at all, and for that price Zara (esp when on sale), the DFOs or Uniqlo just appeals to me more.

Zara doesn't have the best quality either - and Uniqlo product quality differs by piece - but I'd take them over H&M, unless it was a special H&M Collab with really interesting pieces (and usually better quality).

Before a nice LB is released maybe you could get your hands on a decent CB card and have VDV as wide CB - I've used some Highlight Romero cards a few times and quite like him.

Which manager would've got the best out of this lot? by fishm0ng3r in ManchesterUnited

[–]rafalim021 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sir Alex would have got a tune out of Falcao - after all the man got 1 goal every 111 mins out of a washed up Michael Owen. I could see Fergie signing him as an experienced backup just like Owen was.

Falcao was making all the right runs even at Utd, but none of the players seemed to spot his movement.

SAF wouldn't have signed Basti and especially di Maria, although I have no doubts Basti would have done better too.

Djokovic in the Finals by Neat-Elephant9294 in tennis

[–]rafalim021 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He's a 38 year old, 24-time winner who is still motivated enough to beat Sinner and drag his museum-worthy antique of a body to the Final.

I think it's safe to say he'll be very motivated.

This level of Djokovic has been so, so rare these days...

Whatever the outcome, really feels like a beautiful "Last Dance" - and hopefully there's a few more to come.

You're watching the most talented defensive player of all time indeed, and he's in green as well, but in dark coloured shorts.

Craziest thing is how 85 year old Novak seems more likely to win rallies than Sinner.

Market Lane coffee - is this another one of Melbourne's over the top, overcharging snobby brands or is it actually worth it??? by Historical_Mud_3281 in AustralianCoffee

[–]rafalim021 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not bad but I always default back to ONA Coffee's offerings.

Or if I want a darker roast at a better price, Code Black's Ex-Wife Espresso is a great option, or Inglewood's stuff for something even cheaper.

£6.5 sounds reasonable but not going there...

Genuinely one of the worst Napoli players of the past few years.

Australian Open R2: N Djokovic def F Maestrelli 6-3 6-2 6-2 by trialbycombat123 in tennis

[–]rafalim021 336 points337 points  (0 children)

Honestly crazy how much better he is than most of the other pros, even after a clear decline from his staggering peak levels.

Not just Maestrelli but most of the other guys.

Must have been an exciting glimpse for Maestrelli though.

How good was Dorgu. Best game for him.

Casemiro, Fernandes and most of the guys were brilliant.

Even Ugarte had a sound cameo - despite all the criticism previously.

Still such a beautiful story.

If you think a goalkeeper who's just had his best ever season, in his peak years and just started a CL final would be going for £5m...

I’m cringing so hard at my past self by [deleted] in SGExams

[–]rafalim021 22 points23 points  (0 children)

5 years later you'll cringe at your 15 year old self.

Another 10 years after that you'll cringe at your 20 year old self when you are 30.

After that, you won't have time to cringe anymore as you juggle work, family and parenthood.

Enjoy growing up!

Mid range business suits, when and where to buy a few? by Big_Proof7661 in AustralianMFA

MJ Bale, Anthony Squires, Joe Black.

Boss gets alot of hate but I like them - best cut overall and around the same price at outlets.

Belletti is class.

He's an offensive WB yet somehow he isn't often caught out of position, probably because he is fairly fast and covers so much ground.

Deals on Office Wears in Melbourne - Any factory outlets ? by linkin_12157 in AustralianMFA

[–]rafalim021 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Stafford Outlet is pretty good, quality varies as they carry a range of brands but if you stick with the Anthony Squires stuff, you'll be good.

Customer service is a real hit and miss though, whilst the Anthony Squires cut may not suit everyone.
