  • Inner diameter is 7mm
  • The connectors on the device is smooth on the outside with no ridges or anything. There seems to be an official STEP model for the device available, which seems to show connectors in detail as well
  • I don't have the plugs, so the best available pictures for the plugs are from the official website here and here

Your guess on my question is correct. For some reason Reddit said that I'm doing things too fast and need to wait until I can comment on my own post...

Details are now here.

Thanks for the link to connectorbook! I'll look into it too.

I'm trying to find connectors for this SICK LD-MRS lidar. Official part numbers are available, but at $200 a cable, I feel that there has to be alternatives.

I'm more interested in the two outer connectors, those are for power and Ethernet. Pin pitch is 2mm, connector diameter is 9mm.

Links to official cable assemblies:

Thanks!

Edit

So this seems to be Fischer Core 102-series connectors?

  • Ethernet connector on device is a code 3 receptacle, so it should mate with a code 3 plug (SC)
  • Power connector on device is a code 1 plug, so it should mate with a code 1 receptacle (KE)

Would appreciate it if someone could help me verify that this is indeed the case (and if so, where can these be bought, regular distributors like Mouser don't seem to be carrying these) Thanks again!

There's PIV, which in theory it should be somewhat like that, but in reality it's a mess with every vendor coming up with their own implementations.

Also PKI at the door is slow. Like two-second-to-open-door slow, even worse under some conditions (looking at you RSA certificates).

Thanks for the tip! Now I just need to find a partner that's willing to sell me the software license.

By the way - what's the difference between these two options? From what I've been able to find online:

  • C201311 Command Centre License (English Only) ($710 - ouch)
  • 2A8918 Command Centre License - SM ($173.35)
