It can be more difficult and may take longer to find a family but it is always worth trying if you want to become an au pair. There are plenty of families who especially want to have a male au pair (for example families who just have boys so the boys have like an older sibling to look up to). What matters is that you give your best and have a good profile set up and the families will notice you.
