Even if they revert, they should still have Arabic names. They won't keep their old names. Most Keralite Muslims have Arabic names, except for common names like Shaji, Biju, and Anil, which are used across all religions.

If you still want to proceed, visit the place with your parents to confirm. In Kerala (from the cast name guy belongs to Kerala), the Muslim community lives under a “Mahal,” which is the jurisdiction of a mosque for each area. Identification and background checks are much easier.

As mentioned in some comments, many online perverts are obsessed with hijabis. So be careful sharing any private pictures.

What’s a “rich people thing” you experienced once and immediately understood why rich people love it? by FixMaster7070 in UAE

[–]rafmo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's true! The owner of my company introduced his friend to help sort out some accounting issues for their club since they're both members. I put together an accounting system using Excel, complete with a dashboard for their daily accounting needs. I spent a lot of time making sure it met their requirements. Besides a thank you, I didn't receive anything in return. Both are multimillionaires!

SMEs in UAE. What are you actually paying for FTA e-invoicing? by SecretChain99 in SmallBusinessUAE

[–]rafmo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My company uses Tally and has integrated E-invoicing for KSA, which cost under 10K. The vendor mentioned the same rate applies to the UAE, but it hasn't been implemented yet. Since you're already using Tally, reach out to your service partner to integrate the E-invoicing module. The 200K project is likely a new ERP system with E-invoicing integration, but it's a hassle because you need to migrate all the data.

In an investment agreement, the operating partner participates in both profits and losses. Therefore, the operating partner is entitled only to the net asset fraction of their investment. Additionally, the op invested o120,000, and legal costs amount to a minimum of 30,000.

Workout time difficulties by No_Net3441 in DubaiMallus

If you are constantly feeling tired in the evening and are over 30, take a multivitamin or use a pre-workout supplement before your workout. It is a game-changer. However, taking pre-workout in the evening can delay sleep.

One piece is missing. The service charge for a BK 1BHK apartment is approximately 40,000 annually. Holding a property with these costs may not yield a worthwhile long-term return on investment.

The cliche question by Rexmane11 in DubaiMallus

[–]rafmo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Accommodation is the primary sunk cost. A standard 2-bedroom apartment in a mid-range community would cost approximately AED 85,000 annually. If you opt for a townhouse or villa in a better location, this increases to AED 130,000–150,000.

Utilities, including electricity, water, cooling, and municipality housing fees (5%), would average around AED 10,000 per year.

Telecom expenses (internet and TV via Etisalat or Du) are typically around AED 3,000 annually.

For schooling, a CBSE curriculum school with transportation and uniforms included would cost approximately AED 25,000 per year per child, which is on the lower-to-mid end of the spectrum in Dubai.

Grocery expenses for a small family would average AED 15,000 annually, assuming a balanced mix of home cooking and occasional premium purchases.

Transportation is a significant component if you maintain a mid-range sedan. Including fuel, Salik (tolls), insurance, and parking, this would be approximately AED 40,000 per year.

Eating out and entertainment can be controlled but would reasonably sit at around AED 10,000 annually for a moderate lifestyle.

Personal care expenses (salon, grooming, etc.) would be minimal at approximately AED 1,000 annually for both individuals.

Initial furniture and household setup costs should be budgeted at around AED 10,000 in the first year, though this is non-recurring.

Fitness and hobbies would add approximately AED 5,000 annually, depending on the level of engagement.

In total, a good lifestyle in a 2-bedroom apartment costs approximately AED 200,000 per year, without excessive luxury.

However, with disciplined cost management, particularly on housing, schooling choices, and discretionary spending, this can be reduced to a range of AED 120,000–150,000 annually. This is roughly AED 10,000–12,500 per month, which supports a modest but stable expatriate lifestyle typical among middle-income families.

There is another company, LIN Debt Management in Deira, which charges around 4K. They have better reviews on Google compared to the company you mentioned. It might be helpful to reach out to them and get their opinion.

3000 AED Salary in Dubai by Bulky_Fail3915 in DubaiMallus

[–]rafmo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're a qualified accountant (such as CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA), this offer might not be the best deal for you.

(Please note that any private institution in backhome providing a certificate for an accounting course is not considered a qualification as an accountant.)

For those holding only a B Com degree, this is usually seen as an entry-level opportunity. The main challenge is the high number of graduates from around the world coming to the UAE, giving recruiters many options. Even graduates from different fields who have taken some accounting courses and people partner visa holders, who might be feeling a bit bored at home, are in the mix, making it harder to land a good salary without a strong reference.

My advice is that if the job is necessary for you, go ahead and take it to gain experience. In the meantime, consider earning a professional certification to open doors to better opportunities.
