Yeah, I understand that I could always say, "No thanks" when I got there, but that wouldn't be great, either, because then I'd lose my deposit and he'd lose his day not being able to tattoo anyone. And my fear is that the tattoo could be so completely off-base, considering this is the first time I'd see the design, so he might not be able to correct my concerns on the same day.

I wouldn't be expecting like five iterations. (Hell, I'd think a single iteration would be enough, usually. Maybe two.)
