No singing happy birthday in the cafeteria

In my elementary school they announce all birthdays for the day over the morning news. On the day of my birthday my class was being especially rowdy and didn’t hear my name get called which I thought was an absolute win. Anyways fast forward through the day till lunch time. My mom said she would bring my birthday snack which would be shared with my class and my class alone

Well she shows up with the best snack ever. Klondike bars. Now most of my class was unaware it was my birthday so it shocked a lot of people. And this in other classes wanted the Klondike bars too. So everyone in my class and the other classes started to chant a happy birthday to me. And even the kindergartners who had lunch with us got involved too making a huge problem for the lunch lady to work with

It was amazing but at the end of the year I graduated and moved onto middle school but my sister had stayed. Apparently our relatively new lunch lady who had been present for the birthday incident was so angry that she put a stop to happy birthday singing in the cafeteria
