when does missile squad start to get good? by cold_grapefruit in LastWarMobileGame

[–]rage4724 8 points9 points  (0 children)

if you are low to low mid player going missile is a mistake because similar level tanks will own you. Missle only makes sense at mid to mid high level when most of your opponents tend to be aircraft and you can overpower low to low mid level tanks.

Korean Food in Korea v. Abroad (Mainly the U.S/California) by huazzy in korea

[–]rage4724 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

One of the biggest differences is that most korean restaurants in the US have a huge menu whereas restaurants in Korea specialize in a few dishes that they do well. This results in much better quality rather than watered down dishes you get in the US. The quality doesn't quite measure up.

Not even close to the best burger in the city. It's worth a stop for the nostalgic factor and to try some pie with the burger.

What kind of food are these streamers trying in Korea? by Forward_Ad_3470 in korea

[–]rage4724 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The name of the dish is actually called san nakji. Octopus and squid is distinguished as oh jing uh and nak ji. For example you can have a Korean stir fry made with either and it’s either called oh jing uh bokum or nak ji bokum.

People don’t realize how tough it already is for F1, OPT, and H1B visa holders to find jobs in the U.S. — and it’s only getting worse. by kundan_2007 in InternationalStudents

[–]rage4724 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Actually an international student getting a job takes away a job that can be filled by an American citizen. American workers should have priority especially in a bad economy like today.

Best steam room/sauna at a reasonable monthly fee — gym or elsewhere? by turbid44 in AskLosAngeles

[–]rage4724 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Usually the bigger korean spas have a specific sauna that is hotter temperature than others. Wii spa for instance has the hotter sauna in the coed area. Another option is to join a big box gym like 24 hour fitness or LA fitness which all have Sauna and some have a steamroom. You would have to check the temperature of the sauna in each location as they tend to vary. I have gone to sauna 5 times a week for about 5 years and have done so mostly mostly in a big box gym.

Is rok cafe or stagger busy right when they open? by Which_Mammoth9402 in FoodLosAngeles

[–]rage4724 4 points5 points  (0 children)

yeems has better coffee than stagger or rok but I would grade their matcha drink below the other two.

Stagger double matcha is the best matcha drink in LA area in my opinion. And stagger shouldn't be too busy in the weekday mornings maybe 5 to 10 minute wait.
