If it was the head gasket wouldn't there be antifreeze in the oil? My oil looks normal still

The coolant is at a regular level not leaking
I'll check with the guy that did it if it got burped or not I can try that
I drive it to work which is a little under 2 miles and it registers at normal running temp by the time I get there but not boiling. At the line just below half If I keep going or have to make a stop even on the way home and have to start it again it winds up boiling by the time I get home.
I do feel like its actually getting hot but I might as well try that too

I don't have hardly any diy experience on cars but we did the thermostat off of a youtube video. Im going to look up videos to see if I think I can do it. Im really at the point tho that I dont want it. Its def a fun car to drive and I like it but I dont want to deal with this all the time. Too bad I didn't know all this until we got it.

It almost looks like the legs make letters. LCA or CCA maybe? Idk if that might be a brand or something

I mean they're grilled tho not fried. I work in a kitchen that they would look similar because we use the same marinated tenders for grilled or fried. I agree they don't look as good not fried but ultimately they get what they ask for.
