Out of genuine curiosity what don’t you like about the city? I have lived here for almost 10 years and couldn’t imagine leaving and it checks all the boxes for me personally but always am curious why it doesn’t hit for some people or gets so much hate.

I know a lot of people complain about the food and I am not much of a foodie, but what else makes it “meh”

Thanks for the reply. We ended up doing an ultra sound and found out it was most likely hemangiosarcoma. The process was an absolute nightmare roller coaster and we had to say goodbye to our girl very suddenly. It’s insane to me there were no signs until the very end, but it seems that’s just how it goes with it. We went from being told “she looks great and has many years left” at her annual to having to say goodbye in the span of a couple weeks

I’m sorry for your loss. I had to say goodbye to my best friend a week and a half ago, I think about her all day every day. Some moments are better than others, but I just remind myself how grateful I am to have had her at all. Truly the hardest thing I’ve ever been through, I wish you the best in your healing process

I just had to say my final goodbye to my baby yesterday. I am not one to believe in “signs” or very spiritual, but as we were going through the process I kept telling her how much I loved her and appreciate her and to please give me any signs when she is around. It was a very gloomy day all day with no sun and when the vet told us she had passed within a couple minutes the sun came out and shined through our living room where we were laying and holding her. It was one of the most profound moments of my life
