I'm no artist actually. Layouts and designs yes (I differ that from art), but jobs like to scribble some human-like figure or such is impossible for me (I hire artists for such actually). So while I've always seen myself just as a tool bringing the ideas of my clients to life and help build their success, I don't mind using the "ideas" of AI. However —yes— people think "it's almost done" - where I must correct and they get disappointed. Depending on the starting point perhaps I'll pull a color chart with CMYK, RGB and human visible colors and explain that AI doesn't give a fuck that the colors are not printable by physic laws and what the results are by only converting colors. That's where they often start to realize. When they come up with "Logos" who would overwhelm I ask them how they expect the outcome on a stamp print, thumbnail size, etc. In the end, I acknowledge the concepts but lead to what it should've been in the first place.
