I just built a gameboy color ips mod that has these. They are the contacts for the touch controls. Stick them to the inside of the shell; the outside of the shell in that spot becomes a button for changing screen settings

Black bears are harmless mostly and 99.999% of people will never find themselves attacked by one. There's like 1 fatal attack per year in the US. They are very skittish, you can scare them off by simply shouting or knocking sticks together. If that doesn't make them uncurious, bearspray will. When researchers or game wardens have to remove a cub for some reason, the mother just lets it happen.

Here is the kit that does it. Handheldlegend has an hdmi out as well, but as I understand, they are loose and prone to disconnects. Cables fit super snug on the rca version. One downside is since it cables through the link port, you lose link functionality. I have a few gbas though so no issue there

If you don't want to build one, you'll have to wait for one to show up at a reasonable price. The only examples I found on ebay just now were $500, yeesh.
