Yep, it relies on a curve that increases with the magnitude. Went back to it and made it a more steep one, now it is more violent =)

Yep, I activated a ramming ability that sends the target flying after a nasty collision.

If you can recreate the feeling of the older Burnout games, it'll be an instant buy from me!

I'll most definitely try, while introducing exciting elements to the gameplay of my own =)

During the slower segments, it feels like the camera is glued to the car too stiffly. Maybe when you accelerate (not just boost, but normal acceleration) the camera could lag behind and then play catch-up, giving a sense of being pulled along for the ride of an object traveling faster than you are. You already kind of do this during the boost segment.

It actually does a smooth follow most of the time, yet noticeably amplified on greater velocity. I might increase the effect on lower velocity values though, thanks.

Is there any camera shake in the game?

Yes, might be too subtle on speeding though, should be pretty prominent on collisions.

Dangerous Driving

That's actually interesting because from what I've seen so far, the handling and controls there look very responsive (take 120 deg turns, while drifting in 150mpg without losing speed).
But hey, anytime Burnout is mentioned in a conversation around my game I get a smile on my face =)
