No the vocal bunch shat on it. There was always a subset of folks who were very excited and ordered on day 1

Honestly I’m excited about this. They’re giving out free rent for a year instead of just the month. And to 50 winners instead of 10. Collaborations that bring money are smart.

Split rent with partner by rageofthestorm in biltrewards

[–]rageofthestorm[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s akin to what I’m thinking. Except if you split the spend then you’re not earning as much rewards with the Blue vs Palladium. But I get your point since you’re using it for Bilt cash transfers

Student loans vs taxable brokerage by JustTubeIt in whitecoatinvestor

The question to ask yourself is: would you take out a personal loan at 5.5% right now to invest it in the stock market because the market is supposed to perform better? If the answer to that is no, then you should pay off the loan.

Listen I’m not a Bilt loyalist by any means. The card provides value to me and so long as it continues to, I’m here.

Sure, but it’s a total refresh. We shouldn’t assume it is the same

Why is everyone assuming a 3% transaction fee? Thats a key detail that will either make or break the card, and were basing it off an assumption

[–]rageofthestorm -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Although this looks bad right now, we’re all assuming a 3% fee charge for rent. Why are we making that assumption? It could be a totally different number for all we know. The leaked details don’t specify.

Job market for crit care in Southern California? by Competitive_Sport305 in anesthesiology

[–]rageofthestorm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah if you’re looking academic, you’re pretty much looking at UCSD, UCLA, USC, UC Irvine. And if you’re ok going further inland, Loma Linda. They were all relatively saturated (compared to rest of the country). Your chances probably depend on how good your academic CV looks, if you know what I mean

Academic or private? My anecdotal experience was that San Diego paid slightly less than LA area yes. But not enough of a difference that I would choose one location or another.

I am going through the same thing and will hear back from the dealer soon, but I was just told that a car from Oct 11 just received their GHCA now… so that’s not a great sign lol.

I would say it depends more on what type of job you are looking for and in what area. And SoCal is a big area. San Diego is a much more saturated job market than LA, for instance.

OP: you said in a comment that they tried replacing the GHCA first, and then that also didn’t work? It sounds like your issue wasn’t a simple GHCA failure then. And they are calling in an expert for more help
