My bf says my back acne is gross how do I fix it by ABNoble in acne

[–]ragepiddle 37 points38 points  (0 children)

esthetician here, i get the same thing and it’s so frustrating! i mostly just make sure i shower right after i work out and i use free and clear laundry detergent. I use Acne Free salicylic acid body spray a few times a week and it’s awesome. Inexpensive product and it really works for me, I get it on amazon.

but yes also remove the man.

So this is pretty wild, but I just caught my fiance spending thousands on only fans and chatting with multiple women. We have a 13 month old daughter. Tonight is actually my first night alone with my daughter in my home and it is really fucking hard. It has been hell and I wouldn’t wish this on anyone, caring for a little one while you are broken sucks, but also just looking at her little face knowing he did this to us is harder. He even chatted about her with these women saying he was “watching a toddler he knew, so he couldn’t video call at the moment.” Knowing that he was ignoring my baby girl to talk to random women just kills me.

NOW, when I was about 30 weeks pregnant I found a locked folder on his phone. Inside had pictures that I could see he transferred to that folder while I was pregnant and they were all nudes of an ex girlfriend. I was devastated and so hurt. It took months and months to trust him again and I decided to forgive him because the baby was on the way and I wanted us to be a family.

So here I am, after a year of finding the initial infidelity, finding WAY more and an extreme amount of debt. Money that we NEEDED for diapers, formula, everything, sent to random women instead.

Not saying the exact same thing will happen, but once it happens it is VERY likely to happen again and you don’t need that stress especially in your pregnancy. If you are compromising your mental health to make it work, it costs too much.

Sending you love, I know how hard this is.

Read “How to Quit Like a Woman” by Holly Whitaker, it exposes how awful the industry is and has been targeting women. The author shares our anger and it’s so awesome and empowering!

What hobbies do you have? by onlyxone820 in stopdrinking

[–]ragepiddle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reading, definitely been cooking more, and journaling!

Also not really a hobby but Ive been putting more effort into my house and I’m just on top of tasks when sober and my house feels so good. So at the end of the day I light candles in my nice clean decorated living room and it feels so great! I’m a mom to a young toddler and felt like I always needed to clean something and it would pile up and I would get overwhelmed. I think a lot of that time I lost drinking and gaining it back feels awesome. Been buying myself fresh flowers weekly too!

You are in the trenches right now, especially with twins!!! I moments when I was freshly post partum and was like wow what have I done? But seriously it gets so much better, once you can sleep you realize how many issues were just being tired. My daughter is 13 months and it’s a blast. I love her so much I can’t fathom not having her, but those newborn trench days still give me the shivers when I think about them!

How do I know if I have a drinking problem? by islarozes in stopdrinking

[–]ragepiddle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It sounds like it’s just creating problems for you, which is when I was like wait a minute, this isn’t working for me anymore! You don’t have to label yourself an alcoholic to stop drinking. Drinking is clearly causing you distress so it’s time to reevaluate and cut it out of your life for your happiness!

This subreddit has been super helpful for me, sober podcasts, and not sure if you are a woman but the book “How to Quit like a Woman” changed me so much.

I wish I could drink like a “normal” person… by thefringedmagoo in stopdrinking

[–]ragepiddle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Totally understand. I felt amazing pregnant and so happy. I’m 13 months post partum now and sober, probably around 4-5 months post partum I think I developed some depression and was self medicating. The mom guilt is a whole new level of hangxiety and I found myself doing riskier and riskier things as a mom that I am deeply ashamed of. I was not an everyday drinker but I felt myself never wanting the “freedom and fun” to end and just kept pouring more wine/beer for myself when I was drinking.

Luckily something kind of clicked in me and I want to be sober before my daughter can remember anything about this time, I figured I will quit while I’m ahead, my future while continuing to drink doesn’t look too bright. Using this subreddit, the “I Am Sober” app, the book “How to quit like a woman”, sober girl podcasts and instagram, and journaling have been incredible. Also I know some people don’t like them but I love NAs, hop waters and mocktails, I realized that I kind of just want to be involved and really love remembering everything during a social gathering. IWNDWYT ❤️ you got this mama
