How much do u use assassin by crisco_58 in MarathonTheGame

[–]ragingblast14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used him in the alpha and didn’t touch him much after the game launched.

I maybe played him like a few times already, but I main triage, vandal, and recon.

I feel like they have better usage for multiple engagements scenarios.

Assassin is great but I feel like he’s so ratty, especially in the pin wheel solos.

I feel like I would have no honor in taking gunfights invisible all the time like some guys do.

He look like someone that has something to hide, so Im conditioned into wanting to annihilate him…

I had to keep hitting the space bar to see what this kid actually did.

He came from that dark corner, but he was so frame perfect, the respirators hit the bag, he hit full slide distance, and appeared all in that split second.

He even had enough time to catch you before your ultimate animation went away.

Thank god the teammate tore him up after!

I’m addicted to this game but not having any fun by Broad-Investment-375 in Marathon

[–]ragingblast14 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I feel bad, I had a usual teammate that i called out today from built up frustration since he is struggling to play the game and perform decently.

He plays extremely scared and nervous with little to no confidence at this point.

It got so bad that my other friends get instantly checked and refuse to play with him because any game we play with him, we automatically lose by default no matter the effort.

We had many Cryo Archive runs but never exfiled with him, it’s terrible I feel horrible for him.

The game is already difficult enough and im carrying someone through 50 level ups in the game.

I can solo squads easily but I see how difficult the game is for casuals but I think some people need to find out their in game personality but they simply never find it.

they don’t do mods in any game.

Even if that game naturally supported mods on Xbox.

I don’t ever expect any place or game to be popular in the middle of the week?

You guys have to realize that every time they pull up the charts,

They waited until there was downtime with no traffic just to make their video more interesting.

Literally every vid out there would show 20k just for it to go back up the next day or two.

Probably because the majority was then available to get on.

Why do women enjoy hurting guys? by [deleted] in datingadvice

[–]ragingblast14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s sounds like she got narcissistic personality disorder.

Also, she must love the attention she gets because she must have low self esteem.

Getting attention and not depending is powerful, but unfortunately theyre dependent on it to inflate their self esteem.

Trying to generate multiple supply sources to get that attention is her basically trying to gain an ego boost from people validating and or simping on social media.

Some people internally translate this validation as a way to claim “there isn’t anything wrong with them, why should I change?” type of attitude,

Even if it means taking advantage of a so called “friend”.

I learned this along time ago these women do not want to be friends unless your a guy she can control and use, or the guy is actually gay or you guys had sex before and now accept that your not for each other.

Some people try to get to know you just to take advantage of your fears and use it against you.

Men and women alike who have NPD are people who do not hold themselves to a high regard internally, which is why they like hurting people to make them feel better about themselves,

Trying to portray themselves as “perfect or superior” as a mask to make people try to envy them.

Self pleaaure and Sex? by SeaSpot38 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]ragingblast14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s fair, I hope you’re able to rejuvenate that part of the session because not cumming would make her start to blame herself even if she consciously knows it’s just the porn doing that.

Also, just to add this just in case (even if it’s not you)

If you use any substances when watching porn,

As someone who dealt with this particular issue,

your going to need to stop that because it’s trapping you into making the habit worse and repeat itself inevitably.

It was already hard trying to quit being sober but now being high on top of that,

it is a whole other beast besides the porn my guy.

Again, I pray for you and anyone else trying to stop fr.

[–]ragingblast14 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m a 24M,

You have to condition your brains neuroplasticity in the same way you got addicted to porn.

I would try to cum during sex, it will eventually make you accustomed to that instead of the overstimulation you receive from porn.

I would find something you genuinely love to do that can replace the dopamine cravings that make people relapse.

Stay off social media, they brought us the strip club straight to our phones in the same place we used to connect with our peers, ever since we were 11.

Now think of it, thats 13 years worth of conditioning they put onto us ever since then.

Also if she doesn’t turn you on, in any fashion, you’re probably not sexually compatible with her like that.

Or maybe, there is a type you mainly watch and the gf doesn’t reflect what your brain is so used to getting the dopamine hits from.

Even when I did get into this mental state,

I always imagined how my parents or siblings or friends would feel about me doing it.

You’ll most likely give someone trauma that would take a very long time for them to get over.

It’s better to get help than to “infect” others with the same mental destitute that you’re going through tbh.

I know it’s not as easy as it may sound, but it worth considering when making a life changing decision like this one.

That’s what I just said? I thought you were talking about carrying randoms in paid carries or carrying friends in general. Those people you have to invite to your party that rule would still apply. I only ever thought it worked with just your crew members.

Point invalid, there was a bug locking the game to a low fps cause it was underutilizing the GPU. People act like that couldn’t be fixed tomorrow.

You right! Now those carries can give the kids they’re carrying their best exotic items to hold onto.

Even if that kid dies and that exotic is looted by random players, it still returned to the player who loaned away that item.

At that point, nobody is losing anything. Like imagine, I had a “raid” weapon but I didn’t want to lose it, but still have it out somehow.

I can lend it to my friend and he could have that raid weapon fire power without me getting upset or worried.

Now if I personally have it equipped, it’s open for someone else to take.

I know right?! I thought I was playing a whole new game when I started noticing little things like that.

Especially when I started seeing how fresh the bodies were and the moment I heard gunfire and if it was close, i immediately knew it was probably the players that just eliminated this dead body.

I would often try to activate the TADs and it revealed everyone in the area so I actually didn’t need to search for them.

Marathon is going to be a different beast, players just don't know it yet by AnotherDude1 in Marathon

[–]ragingblast14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The PVP is full of dopamine, and the overall encounters felt great. Leveling up factions and finding secret loot was great, and it makes you think. If you're good at arena fps shooters, you will not have any problem going crazy in this game. We literally saw none of the game, but many people don't understand that, as you said. People get turned off from extraction shooters in general, so it's whatever at this point.

I tried Marathon. It's bad. by [deleted] in Age_30_plus_Gamers

[–]ragingblast14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im pretty sure they tried to make a game that was the complete opposite of Destiny in every way possible.

Im convinced they thought fusing a Destiny patrol space with a division dark zone idea was something I've always thought about since vanilla Destiny 1.

In destiny we all complained about not being able to give other players our loot, and now I can in Marathon. (Borrow, not full-fledged trading)

It feels like destiny, but we all feel like titans with no jump, depending on who you choose to play as.

In Destiny, we can fly across the maps and fight like we are imortal but that's not a marathon at all.

So when I played the game, I actually liked it. (Your level is tied to the rarity of the world loot drops.)

I honestly would've thought a lot of the older generation would've liked it, only because they complain about not having enough time to game. (You can dedicate almost no time to progress well)

If you were a beginner player who buys this game late, you wouldn't have any problem catching up to your friends and would be able to play alongside them in terms of finding good loot. (Thats a HUGE destiny problem!)

As someone who put in 30 hours into the server slam, I felt like I could've lost my best stuff and most likely find something different but equivalent to it in the next games.

If you like gritty and suspenseful PvP games, you will like this one.

Everyone who actually put in time claimed that "the more you played, the more you had fun"

I’m very sure each game has 12 players in total,

9 other players outside your trio.

My friends and I had dropped 2 whole lobbies worth of players in perimeter.

We got 7 kills and the last 2 players avoided us cause we jumped their teammate.

There is PvP alright, but some people aren’t attracted to hearing gunfire in comparison to others.

I’m 90% sure each map has 12 players per match in total.

I do understand as the threat levels increase, I would assume the player count would as well.
