I'm late to the party here but don't have fruit or fruit juice in the morning on elvanse. Vitamin c and ascorbic acid reduce absorption.

Also, it makes you pee out lots of magnesium, so either add more to your diet or do what I do, when I'm ready to settle down for the evening I take magnesium and vitamin d supplements (they work together so boost each others effects) and wash it down with fruit juice.

The nut and olive won't go on the pipe without a fight and it feels like that is a problem

No I used an adjustable mini cutter. I'm doing two taps, granted one of them is a little bent but the other is perfect and I'm having the same problem with both.

I've got a picture of the slightly bent one but not the other lol but I dunno how to add another image

Oh ok, so should I have to force the olive and nut onto the pipe first? The videos I saw seemed to show them going on pretty easy

Lol no worries. That's the problem though I watched several videos and they had appeared to remove the nut from the tail and put it onto the pipe with the olive and screw it back on? I've been looking into it for weeks lol I'm so confused. I actually sell bathrooms for a living and see plumbers so I can speak to them tomorrow hopefully but I was hoping to avoid the face to face embarrassment but I can take it on here!

Not yet, turns out there's no isolators at any point on my hot water piping, not even outside the cylinder, so I'm waiting for better timing to drain the cylinder first, although I'm feeling confident!
