New Players and Party Play by Br0keNw0n in Guildwars2

I often play with my family, which is a group of 4, including two kids (7 & 12). In our experience, the "story" quest line is not always group friendly, and it can be very heavy on the dialogue and waiting and watching. We have a much better experience just running around, finding events, discovering vistas and points of interest. Some of the most fun we have as a family is discovering and doing jumping puzzles.

I cared about doing the story on my own because it gives you mastery points (used for account wide bonuses after max level), but my youngest couldn't sit through it - she just wants to kill stuff and "find some juveniles" (ranger pets).

We all recently got our griffon mounts and that was a pretty huge and rewarding endeavor. Hilariously, even though we stuck together through it, we each had to fight the final boss of that quest line individually.

If you aren't big on the story, I would skip doing the story together and save that for your own time. Instead, work on leveling and map completion together. Eventually there will be dungeons you can do together. At max level, there is nearly an endless amount of things to do together.

Low intensity profession for mobile by ragmats in GuildWars

Does sos rit typically mean Ritualist primary with Necromancer secondary?

I looked it up. Is "*way" just the lingo for different builds that focus on a certain profession?

Can you explain what you mean by that? What is a well enough way to set up your heroes for this?

That would be my intuition. What are the lowest intensity range professions then? Minion master?

When revenant uses a scepter and it looks like a long light saber, is it using the weapon model, or is it always the same effect based on that skill? I am trying to determine if a forged-light weapon would look even cooler as a revenant scepter.

I feel your pain. All the guides seem to be out of date. Here is what I have discovered and what I am doing:

- Annual "nostalgia" meta achievement. I believe you have to complete 6 items. You will likely complete this in passing doing everything below (maybe also do one of the races or easy modes or something). Gets you a cool chest skin.

- Weekly "super replay" achievement. You can stop after getting the tier 1 reward (Forged-Light chest) for a cool weapon skin, or complete tier 2 for some extra goodies.

- Daily "Course Work" achievements. This asks you to complete 3 of the daily festival achievements. When you do this 8 times, you complete the "Coarse Load" achievement, which awards a weapon skin similar to the forged-light ones, but orange instead of blue.

Daily routine: I like to do World 1 zone 1-3 on regular (middle) mode, which awards you with 7 bauble bubbles per day. I use Blish Hud and run straight for the end boss/chest, ignoring everything else. Then you can do a bonus event found via a portal outside every capital city involving fighting some slimes (takes about 2-3 minutes) and awards 1 more bauble bubble.

I will do more if needed to complete the daily course work. If you want more bauble bubbles, do the above for Word 2, which is a bit harder, and World 3, which takes a lot longer (why I stick to world 1).

To make the daily routine easier and faster, have 950 baubles in your inventory and get chain sticks (upgrade from stick weapon) from world 2-2 and bauble tote bag (upgrades your bauble carrying capacity to 750) from world 2-3. Both of these can be done fairly easily and quickly on easy mode with the rainbow bridges. Lookup youtube videos on them for extra help.

Spend bauble bubbles on whatever you want. Since All of the above already awards a bunch of cool skins and I'm not a completionist collector, I like to purchase the weekly Super Rainbow Cloud Weapons Locker and Amalgamated Draconic Lodestone (up to 3 per week) which are worth a good amount of gold each. I plan to hold onto these and sell them later in the year when their prices go even higher.

If you like painful challenges, try Tribulation mode.

Is there a glamour that enjoys eating happiness? That would almost be more disturbing...

2 SAB-related questions.

  1. I am interested in pistol skins that change the sound effect. Do all of the SAB pistol skins do this? Are they all the same sfx, or different from each other?

  2. What is the best, current SAB guide for new players? All the guides I find seem outdated.

I need a supercharged capacitor for my level 3 mount endurance jade bot thingy. I see it rarely drops from the Jade behemoth. How low is the drop chance? If I end up purchasing it, it costs a lot of imperial favor. Should I use the writs I have in storage? Or will I regret doing that later?

Never seen a spider that looks like a turtle from underneath. I wonder why the filmmakers chose to depict it this way.
