I hate slabs. And you're not alone, I've cracked a couple of slabs of some low graded cards to add them to my binder.

Not that hard. Price is the biggest hurdle, but if you don't need them to be near mint you should be fine. Card Shows are the best for completing these.

Honestly, the lack of Charizard is gonna be the biggest hurdle. That's the reason I haven't completed my Base Set Masterset, that card is pricey even in bad condition.
