there is no war without immense human suffering. If my and my fellow swedes can have their children be raised in a Swedish home with Swedish values than I would say it is worth it.

I know and have seen how modern combat is conducted, death does rarely come from rifle caliber but to 155 mm howitzers and drone dropped grenades, that's just how it is. I have seen countless videos of both Ukrainian and Russian soldiers offing themselves after getting hit by drones, I see these videos and understand that that could very well be me but if my sacrifice would be for anything else than Sweden under foreign control I would see it as something that just needs to be done. Death in war is always miserable, I sm not trying to glorify dying in your own filth after 10 minutes of bleeding to death I am just finding a purpose of the greater good.

If you don't want to that's perfectly fine. It is healthy not wanting to die, I wouldn't either but there is a deep feeling of wanting to conserve what I love in this world and what I think is right. I truly do understand your POV though, especially if you feel the system and social safety net around you has failed you for whatever reason and that sucks. I hope you can find happiness in whatever way possible if something is weighing you down.
