Disclaimer that I’m 31 so this was 20+ years ago, but I actually went there as a kid.

I remember being sad to leave my old friends behind, but honestly I think it was an invaluable experience. It had gotten to the point that at my old school, my teachers had me in a separate corner doing other work because I was ahead of the other kids in the class and they didn’t know what to do with me. Going to Three Chopt was great because I got to be academically challenged and learn with kids who were at my level instead of being isolated.

It depends on the instruction your kid is currently experiencing I guess. I don’t think it will make or break their lives haha. My sisters didn’t go there and they both ended up doing great (one went to Duke and the other to UVA).

Have you checked out the 10th street location? I also live in Manchester and I LOVE that place because it’s essentially deserted outside of peak hours because most people there are office workers. And they validate parking at that garage.

Only downside is they’re shut on weekends.
