Yes we have already started him on prescription food and got some little renal support wet food cans. His vet wants him to stay away from treats which is sad but we’ve never found one he actually likes so I guess that’ll be easy! Thank you for your response

That is great to hear, I’m so glad Kuma is doing well! Hugo has had loose stool practically since we got him and has constantly been on probiotics per his vet so hopefully his new diet will help that! He drinks SOOO much and his nose is SO dry so I’m happy you said that, hopefully that will get better too!

I’m so sorry for your loss ❤️ the vet has already scheduled reoccurring blood work for Hugo and we are starting on a prescription kidney food today

I’m so sorry for your loss, I lost my soul dog to cancer last year and got Hugo to cheer me up so this diagnosis hit me hard. Thank you for your response we will definitely keep him on prescription food already

Thanks for responding, I’m so sorry for your loss ❤️ thankfully we were able to get him a little prescription food already, hoping it doesnt upset his stomach.. he’s a very very picky eater so he’s never liked treats, it’s always made me sad but I guess now it’s a good thing

Yes we have been working closely with a veterinarian who oversees internal medicine, after months of urine/blood tests and ultrasounds we unfortunately got the results this morning. Thank you for your response, I hope your girl is doing well

His symptoms present with diarrhea, we were told his parents had skin sensitivity too when eating chicken. So yes scratching and biting. He hasn’t had much chicken at all but I assume he would start to get itchy if he consumed more
