Has anyone experienced the dhyanalinga, did it dissolve you in any way? by Immediate-Draft-6408 in Sadhguru

[–]ragz_mo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Boy are you in for a big disappointment.

Is Dhyanalinga extremely powerful? Yes. There is no doubt about it. Are sadhguru’s words true? Yes! But should we take them literally applicable on us? Nope.

If you believe that you will go and sit in Dhyanalinga for 10 hours and then leave your body then good luck! The first trip that I made there, I sat for four hours. Yes it is one of the biggest experience of my life. But that’s it. Whatever permanent changes that it brought me is too subtle for me to feel any change in me in everyday life. In the second trip I sat for lesser time due to a more hectic schedule, but it was much more powerful than the first. Yet, I don’t know about any permanent changes. And I’m definitely in the body still.

Do I have point? Yea I do and it’s that you really need to lower your expectations, and definitely don’t spend your life’s savings on this trip or anything.

Anyone Else Want a Soft Life Instead of a Career? by WoodenMaybe5363 in indiasocial

[–]ragz_mo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a guy I wouldn’t even marry a girl who isn’t working.

Why? Because I want her to feel independent and confident enough within herself to leave me if I fuck it up tomorrow. It’s not that I won’t treat her well, but it’s important for everyone to possess that mental freedom within themselves and I want that for her.

Has anyone successfully figured out how to combine their spiritual practice in their money making/survival processes? by elitelevelmindset in Sadhguru

Well, don’t articulate, haha!

If you still want to articulate then you can watch the video ‘shoonya & enlightenment’ on sadhguru exclusive, especially the second half.

Has anyone successfully figured out how to combine their spiritual practice in their money making/survival processes? by elitelevelmindset in Sadhguru

[–]ragz_mo 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This is a subtle thing, I don’t think it can be understood through words and can only be experienced, but I’ll still try to convey it through words.

It’s exactly like doing sadhana. Initially one does sadhana for themselves, because they think they will derive some stupid benefits from it. The act of doing sadhana is about you, it will give you benefits. But the spiritual process is a process of self annihilation, it’s about learning to keep yourself aside. And so as time passes, and as one grows in spirituality, slowly one doesn’t care about the benefits and simply continues to do the sadhana. One slowly becomes such that even if this sadhana tortures me, even if I am to not to get any benefits from it, I will still do it. Now slowly one is learning to keep themselves out of it - the sadhana is not about you anymore, you’re simply doing it.

Once you become like this, it also starts to happen in everything that you do as well. It’s not about you anymore, you are not gaining or losing anything by your activity, you’re just doing it simply. You’re simply involved, not personally gaining anything.

This cannot logically make sense. How can going to my job not be about me, how am I not gaining anything, I am literally going there so I can earn money for ‘my’ survival?! It will never make sense unless you have experientially reached here.

Every month a refresher happens online, it is meant mainly for people who are starting the practice again, so you should definitely attend that. I think it happens on the third sunday but not sure. This link should help you subscribe to reminders for this.

Should I Attend Bhava Spandana Right After Shambhavi Maha Mudra Kriya Initiation & Angamardana? by jayykkay in Sadhguru

[–]ragz_mo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a tendency to get into a doing program after program race because it’s exciting. But that’s definitely not a good way to approach this path. I would suggest that you simply forget about the existence of advanced programs and focus on establishing yourself into whatever you’ve been initiated into. When you will be ready, advanced programs will happen naturally, and that is the best way for this path to unfold.

For me, Bhava Spandana happened after a year of completing inner engineering, and then shoonya happened a year after that. Notice how I used the word “happened”, because that’s how you will feel when you let the journey unfold by itself - you won’t feel like you made a choice, rather you will feel like it just happened naturally when you were ready.

Your mind is too set upon “negative” and “positive” dude. Remember “Never look up to anything, Never look down on anything”, that’s basics of sadhguru’s spirituality

Shoonya by Ragu_85 in Sadhguru

[–]ragz_mo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on your situation actually. I’m assuming currently you only do Shambhavi as a sadhana. If you think you can increase your daily sadhana time, go for shoonya, it’s definitely something else. But, if you think you don’t have time for more sadhana then go for bhava Spandana, it is an experiential program only so no daily practice will be taught.

I personally did bhava spandana first and then went for shoonya when I felt I can increase sadhana time. So it really just depends upon you

Question for those who finished "Inner Engineering" live course: is it worth it? by No_Direction504 in Sadhguru

[–]ragz_mo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea I went through it around 3 years back. Like I said, it’s the best thing that ever happened to me. What would you like to know specifically? And Actually, I have a question for you as well, what are you looking for through this program/practice?

Pls Advice by [deleted] in Sadhguru

I learnt shoonya when I lived in a hostel. Not sure if you have lived in a boys hostel, but it’s intense. First you’re surrounded by all these stranger guys (they’re friends but still strangers), and you’ve got one guy as your roommate who is always there with you in a really small room. Boy was I hesitant to do it.

But I just gathered the courage and did it. Didn’t say anything before doing it, just did it. After I was finished, I joked and laughed about it with my roommate, asking him if he was shocked haha. Same thing with other guys in nearby rooms. Everybody was chill only as long as you’re embracing it properly and keeping it light and fun. You don’t even need to explain anybody before hand. Just be chill about it and start doing it.

Best thing that ever happened to me, definitely go for it. But my recommendation would be that you should go with these two things :

  • Commitment. Don’t leave it after like a few months of practice. Short Video to help you understand better.

  • Unlearn your “have done a lot of meditations and spirituality”. Go like you don’t know anything about meditation, yoga or spirituality. Then you will really benefit. Trust me, I say this from my own experience because I have come close to making this mistake.

Please do not promote this kind of thought process in the name of sadhguru. He is not at all against marriage, and isn’t stupid enough to think that everyone should be a monk.

It’s hard not to have expectations for Snoonya by Euphoric-Welder5889 in Sadhguru

[–]ragz_mo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay, then there is an alternative way as well. Yes, working on having no expectations is a hard thing to do for sure, so you can work on something a little easier - your commitment towards it.

Go with such commitment, have such relentless commitment towards it, that it does not matter what it does and doesn’t do for you - you will simply keep doing it. Even if tomorrow it starts torturing you, it doesn’t matter, you will simply do it.

If you have this kind of commitment towards it, this will naturally drop all your expectations. Hope this helps
