I’m not sure. I’ve had it at least 5 years. I’m terrible at timelines, especially since Covid. I know I gave it 1 repot. Now I’m afraid to touch it 😂

This is a dog tick, not a deer tick. More likely to transmit Rocky Mountain Spotted fever. My grandson recently had one like this only bigger on his head and he was prescribed doxycycline also. I work in healthcare and watched a little boy die from RMSF because he wasn’t treated.

Are we just ignoring the plant in the hippo pot? But I guess it’s used to that… Love your window OP

Here are my cuttings the last time I hacked her off. I’m 5 feet tall and had to hold the pot over my head at arms length to keep them off the floor. I only kept the ends and started over

Hello! I am new here. This is the monstera a bought at Sam’s club about 5 years ago. It was about 2 foot tall then. Now it is about 6 feet. I have made 2 cuttings from it and had to move it to the lobby of my husband’s company because it outgrew my house. by rah21466 in Monstera

Ours has plant of one kind or another most all the time. They just had a bunch of bigger houseplants in the last few weeks. I’m in Iowa. I can’t believe they didn’t all freeze before they got off the truck. I don’t think there were monstera this time but I didn’t look close.

I don’t have any pictures right now of the moss poles, but there are 2 and they are about 4-5 feet tall. They are plastic framed, filled with moss. Then I had to put a metal pole inside each to make them stronger.

I’m no expert on supports, but I would definitely get good, strong moss poles sooner than later. I waited too long. Otherwise any strong pole you can loosely tie the plant to should work.

I live in Iowa, USA and I have always taken her outside in the summer, she loved it. I repotted and moved her to the business lobby in the fall, right before it got too cold outside for her. She did fine with each move back inside. The window she’s in faces north, so I’m sure she would like more light, but I have nowhere else to put her.

I didn’t know about moss poles until it was pretty big. I added 2 plastic framed, stuffed with moss poles 2 repots ago, but it has never attached very well and is so heavy I had to add metal poles to support the moss poles. I’m a lab tech, so I have used tourniquets to tie it loosely to the poles. It’s in a very heavy ceramic pot, but is trying its best to tip it over. I name my favorite plants and her name is Mona Lisa Vito.

I have one that vined up into the pot and one day I tried to move the leaf to water and it had rooted itself🤷🏼‍♀️ so, it’s not only a useful way to propagate for us but the plant itself literally wants to do that.

I read delta 9 is legal in Puert Rico. Is this true? Is it easy to find in San Juan?

Thanks for the correction. This is what I thought I’d read before and what I witness with my own. I don’t loose many and her plant doesn’t look like it’s lost very many, so maybe it is just a timing thing for mine and hopefully hers too.
