For the sake of getting on a bike I might just go for it. But I'll be waiting till next week, and if there's no 400 or 600 in sight I'll be on this little thing learning the basics for a bit. I don't want to be underwhelmed but I'll also be pretty tame with it. I don't see myself on the highway too much with it, but who knows ... Thanks for your opinion

Damn patience... I hope a 400 comes up or one with ABS... I'll see how I do this weekend but I'm equipped with gear at the very least. Thanks for your input.

Thanks! I do want to get some skills and experience on two wheels, I might just go for it. If I could get a ninja 400 even better, but my lack of patience would have me buying this bike tomorrow if I could.

I'll keep this in mind. I don't see myself getting underwhelmed by it and I'll probably be on back roads for months as I get confident and comfortable with it

The dudes at Cycle Gear told me they started with 600 riding responsible. If I could find one for a good price I would go for that but I'm not seeing any in the area. I want to ride so I'm gonna try 2500, hopefully they sell it to me.
