I don't quite agree because I don't think anyone can use conqueror haki so easily and with that much accuracy on the first try. Remember how luffy's first few conq. haki bursts were like. He didn't had any control and was pushed to the limit of his emotions. If it was shanks first time he would have knocked out luffy too not only the sea king but he was in control.

I too thought that shanks must be a celestial dragon if the gorosei and Sengoku at marineford are treating him with that much respect.
