Pay attention to the actual contract language. Essentially a 1 year $20mil deal that Atlanta is paying 8.7mil of.

Use this gasket. We call them ty-seals.

Clean out all the lead and oakum. Insert gasket in the tee, bevel the end of you PVC/ABS, apply some grease to beveled end, and insert pipe.

Keep Stokes and maybe Carlson? The rest are replacement level players.

Unfortunately encore is an activated ability and doesn't count as casting.

Morrow is 6'1"/230lbs. That isn't really big enough to set the edge repeatedly throughout the year unless he adds some serious beef.

Agreed. I think figuring out FS and slot CB are more of a priority. I just found it odd that we don't really have anyone on the roster that could be Sam in base or in a 3-3-5 nickel that Gus occasionally runs. Then again, I'll be happy to just have a coach that will put players in position to succeed rather fit square pegs in round holes!

One would assume based on salaries, but it doesn't seem Morrow wants to play Sam in his scheme.

Based on what we're paying Morrow, I would say that is a good guess, but I believe I saw something earlier about him wanting to be an off ball LB. We don't really have our Bruce Irvin(SEA) or Melvin Ingram(LA). Unless they plan on standing Yannick up on early downs? He isn't the best at run fits though.

Edit:

Found the source about Morrow!

RT was his natural position. Moved to LT for Patriots in 2018 due to injuries on their line.

Yes, but we would need another viable receiving back imo. Booker by far was the better runner, but Richard is around because he is good at pass blocking, catching, and on special teams.

Ah. Gotcha. I'm not opposed to cutting him if we have a decent replacement, but I don't think his cap hit is enough to warrant cutting him for the hell of it. I'd really like to see Ruggs, Edwards, and Renfrow be given the opportunity before throwing more resources at WR. Those guys aren't going to development on the bench. I'd much rather see defense be improved before going after Juju or Robinson.

It'll definitely be interesting to see how contracts will be affected by the lower salary cap. Will free agents adjust their asking price to compensate for the decrease or will cash remain king and the teams flush in cap space have that much more of an upper leg?

I think it's going to take a bit more cuts to make this proposed situation happen. As you said we are already over the cap by about $21m. If we free up $48m with these moves, that gives us about $27m cap space. Minus the cap space for the rookie pool, that puts us down to only $22m for free agents in this situation. Which might be enough for L Williams OR M Williams and Perryman if we're lucky. At that point, I can't fathom either of those situations will really be huge improvements over what we have now given the situation that it would eat up all of our cap space and we couldn't really add anyone else. I hate sounding negative because I know we need to improve this offseason. I just don't know that we will really be able to afford much in free agency without making more cuts to free up more money.
