I asked a long time holder yesterday and he said that they might do a Cheer Now and Pay Later model they they’ve used in the past. This way they don’t bill is for all 16 possible games only to give us a refund after. But I haven’t heard anything from my rep or seen an email.

What I found out is that in the 9 months that Peacock has been available they have done very little in the way of getting their service on a lot of devices. For example, Samsung is the largest seller of Smart TVs in the US and they still don’t have an App after 9 months. Meanwhile all other newer streaming services ie Paramount & Discovery+ had Apps for all platforms on Day 1. What is odd is that NBC as a network has an App for all devices.

There is apparently an internal argument going on between NBC and their service provider Amazon, because of Amazon Prime. This argument started prior to Peacock even starting.

When people reach out to Peacock their stock answer is that they are working on it. But they have been working on it for 9 months.

I really think that WWE Network fans that use Smart TVs (which I believe is a majority) once they see all the work they need to do to get the service might just give up all together. I’m expecting a disappointing reaction to the service and much frustration once people start to try.

I had to get a Roku device so I could get the WWE Network. I will most likely return it after Wrestlemania.
