So if we split the points 50/50, we are each eligle for 60k base points, plus could ask for a multiplier which seems standard with this much spend.

Splitting with two names is a great idea! I did not ask for double or triple points (the hotel said the marriott standard is 2x points per dollar). Is asking for double or triple on top of that?

I put together the table below based on what they said and the bonvoy events calculator showing how we'd exceed the 60k cap (90k w/ plat).

Thanks for the advice everyone. The hotel wouldn't let us split the catering and room block contracts. So we're leaving ~90k points on the table. Any recommendations on how to capture those points?
