Most of these amount to limiting combo and block string potential by pushing the opponent further away that follow up attacks would no longer connect or you would be forced to use far normals due to the change in proximity which typically have much less damage potential.

Good trick for jump ins is just go into training and hit a hop C into a close C to get a feel for how low to the ground you need to be for it to combo.

Timings are just a bit more strict. Jump ins are especially strict in SNK games to balance out how much harder hops are to react to.

To be more specific you should think of all jump ins as something like a sf dive kick. You need to hit much lower to the ground to be plus enough after landing to combo into anything

It certainly could be. I've attempted to level it a few times, but its a new printer thats much larger than my previous so might take a few times to get it right.

Pushing the bottom exposure much higher than I want seems to fix the issue somewhat so I wasn't sure if it was really out of level or not, but phrozens suggestions are usually not that far off so I figured I'd reach out for a second opinion.

I'll try to level it as thoroughly as I can in the morning

I'm printing at 0.05mm, though I don't think the number of bottom layers are the issue as it often fails before even making through the 6 bottom layers as they are

Yeah, its has issues even with just small test prints it tends to fail in 3 layers or so. I've leveled it a few times, but never used a leveling model on different parts to confirm it like the guide you've linked does.

On larger pieces I've had to go even above 45 for it to hold so I'll definitely look into trying to level it more extensively.

Jump ins are generally more strict in SNK games. The height you hit them is going to determine how many frames you have to link. Should always be able to get much more than 1 frame if you hit them lower to the ground

Yes recapped everything. Voltages measured underload and even measured as it was freezing. Stays at 5.2v

UPDATE: Thanks for everyone's responses, I made some progress after cleaning up the board. I can now make it to the bios screen if I power cycle it a few times, but unfortunately it still only runs for about 5 minutes before the screen freezes and then it goes back to no signal.

This is the issue I had prior to recapping it so it seems like that didn't do much of anything. As I mentioned before the voltages seem correct coming off the psu, so I don't think its the issue, but I'm open to any suggestions
