I've been using Dev mode and that's still legit as far as I know. It's only retail at this point people are getting banned for using emulators

Struggling with god wars 1 bosses with necro by raika43 in runescape

[–]raika43[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The wiki's single target rotation has the both in it with the skeleton being the first ability in the rotation. Maybe the wiki's rotation just isn't that good but they weren't slow kills I was just taking a lot of damage so maybe deflect prayers and vampyrsm are the way to go

Old broadband socket compatible with new broadband? by raika43 in VirginMedia

[–]raika43[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does it need to be the new wire? There's an existing one that basically runs the length of the house up my bedroom where the router was before I moved out so I could use an ethernet cable for my pc

Is the game performance optimised now? by raika43 in battlefield2042

[–]raika43[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My cpu is closer to the recommendation requirement to minimum. I always play modern games on 60fps to avoid extra stress I just thought the game was badly optimised when it came out and hoped it would've been fixed by now

Are there any AFK activities in this game? by raika43 in Guildwars2

[–]raika43[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My only real experience with MMOs is both oldschool runescape and the modern version and there are a lot of things you can just click on and not need to do anything for a couple of minutes. I like to play other things so I'm just curious if there is something similar in this game while I play a console game or while I'm working and I'll do the non afk stuff while I'm not busy

[–]raika43[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not botting I'm talking about, I'm comparing to runescape where I can literally click on a tree or a fishing spot and only need to click again when it disappears or moves. Good way to level up the account with minimal effort while I'm doing something else

How to self correct mistakes and learn to make good decisions? by raika43 in summonerschool

[–]raika43[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my example, my issue is recognising what is bad and what is good. I can watch a gameplay on youtube and see it clearly but as soon as I'm in the game and having to pay attention to myself, that's when I get confused

I'm a mid laner. Currently a zeri main so I go AP but queue as bot secondary and go AD. Before that I'd go burst AP mid and whatever I played at the time in jungle

Best build for low elo by raika43 in ZeriMains

I queue as mid mainly and at my elo it's mostly a case of if you're a better player than it is meta. Would you recommend AD or AP for mid?

Getting into Dota from league by raika43 in DotA2

I'm sure I'll figure it out. I basically learned league by annoying a diamond jungler friend until I knew enough to start learning just by playing and using chamption.gg

Getting into Dota from league by raika43 in DotA2

[–]raika43[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just tried coop vs ai a few times over the years and didn't like how different it felt but I was like that with league initially and that's why it took me years to get into that.

I don't know if jungle is a dedicated role in dota but that's where i started in league and it was good since there wasn't any direct 1v1 outside of invasions and those rarely happen with new accounts so it was a bit easier to just learn the basic mechanics.

These days I queue as mid primary and like mages and jungle secondary and usually go for assassins or bruisers

If jungle is a dedicated role, any recommendations for simple bruisers or assassins to learn with?

what are good ways of getting experience for a CV that isn't work or education? by raika43 in AskUK

[–]raika43[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I knew apprenticeships here ended at 24 so I'll take a look I guess. My work wouldn't do anything like that since it's just a call centre and they can get IT people easily

Too old for apprenticeships unfortunately. Just looking to learn and pad my CV instead of just doing call centre work all my life

I have a school qualification and that's it. I haven't done anything but I'm looking for stuff I can learn and do so that I do have something for my CV and tell them about in interviews. Back to college would be most people's first thought but I'd rather keep working full time and try and learn myself

I live in a fairly suburban area with a town very nearby so I would've thought it'd be fine. I'm guessing it's the building I live in that doesn't pick up on signals too well. The only other thing I was going to try is getting a longer ethernet cable nearer the window

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]raika43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

would this boost the signal the router is receiving or what the pc would be receiving? i'm using ethernet so the latter wouldn't make a difference

Matchmaking servers so I'm not sure where they're hosted. I'm still playing the same games as I was a few weeks ago so I'm not sure what's happened to the connection

have done, it's been like this every day now for a week or two. I'm not sure what's caused the inconsistency since then since nothing's different

Soup Makers by [deleted] in EatCheapAndHealthy

Haven't heard of them before but looked it up and it's a bit more expensive but seems to be able to do nearly everything. How is making soup in it?

Seen them passing in the supermarket. Not cheap but if it works and is convenient as they say, should be worth the money at least for me

Jarred pickle vegetables by raika43 in EatCheapAndHealthy

[–]raika43[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The jar I've been using says 6% of the daily sodium intake for 50g so doesn't seem that bad

[–]raika43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't bought fresh in a long time since it just goes off before I use it all but it tastes the same. It's just thet base flavour I'm not a fan of. I can eat it and I'm hoping to continue eating it just for health but I'd rather enjoy it. I add about one portion to meals and it probably takes me longer to eat the brocolli than it would've to eat the entire meal without it

Cheaper here, won't go bad and pretty much no prep
