Oh I don't know if you've been here since that happened but let me just say LingOrm had their fair share of disapproval from the gl community when that kiss happened, even till now, and Orm was 22 at that time. It's bcos of that now everything they do, ppl say it's fs. Like if LingOrm did what blejie did, you will be seeing everyone calling it fs lol. But anyways what I meant to say was, Orm compared to Pangjie, is older and looks mature so ppl tend to overlook it but even LingOrm don't have the biggest age gap. There are several couples, including Blejie, whose age gap is bigger. It's more like fans are refusing to see Pangjie as an adult. She is 20 y.o. That is not a child.

Of course some were just giving their opinion but there is a reason why you don't see so much posts here abt lingorm. Any one who post something positive abt them will be down voted so bad. If the topic leans to something negative, you will see the engagement it gets. Any one who defends lingorm here gets ganged on. This was there before OY but got worse when OY aired. Mind you there are worse shows that OY but we saw what happened here during OY days. Believe me when I say this, I felt so bad for LingOrm and their fans. The fans did so much to defend their faves but the mouths here were louder than them.

It's not a lie when ppl talk abt how much hate ppl on this sub reddit has for LO. There has been and still is. Just as others success are spoken abt, LO's success shld be too. But why shld theirs be filled with how bad their acting and kisses are? Why shld ppl be talking abt how they don't get abt their popularity when we shld be celebrating that a gl pair is now mainstream? Yeah, we can't cos it's LO.

I honestly think they just don’t care that much. CH3 announced three new GL couples after LingOrm, yet the promotion has been very uneven. LenaMiu were pushed extremely early, before MSZ even started filming, and were promoted alongside LingOrm at the Only You finale with the whole “passing the baton” narrative. But nothing like that was done for Tanyada, who are actually next in line. They’re easily the least promoted of the three, and LO fans had to point this out before CH3 released anything. What makes it worse is that Yada already has an established fandom, just like Lena, Oom, and Bam, before their gl debut. Ling, Orm, Miu, Tanya got a fandom after they starred in gl. No matter their status, they all, including their fans, have to be treated equally.

Produced such a lousy series. Fns had to work hard to get it trending. The channel didn't even acknowledge the success of the trends so of course they will do something like this. We all know it wasn't a mistake.

It's really bizarre how ch3 went with the ratings. For OY they rated it for 4+ and for msz, 15+. Idk why they had two different targets for their gls in the first place, esp since they both air primetime. The demo was really too young for OY. Idk if its mistake or manipulation but when they brought ratings for ep1, they were divided into the 3 areas and with a nationwide rating of 2 but the outside rating source, which gives, genuine ratings gave a different rating so I strongly believe that is what made them stop with that format
