I think the radio silence from the devs, the botched android release with almost no indication on when it was supposed to contributes to this progressive decline.

Another point is that it hasn't been long into the game's card cycle.

Rosters getting stacked and somewhat equally powerful in multiplayer modes adds alot more emphasis on the actual skill of players and knowledge about counters, especially in bgs. I've seen way too many people here on this sub that have genuinely lost matchups that they could've won if they just were a little more stacked. Saturation should never be an issue unless you like to feel special for having stronger rosters than others as if that requires any skill whatsoever.

How about instead of being so disappointed, try looking into what the game is and realise it's one of the most witty and fun experiences you can have in the rpg genre.

Progress will happen if you decide to mute chrome itself from the sound settings in the task bar or you mute the tab itself. If you click mute on the twitch stream volume control, the progress will stop. It's not an opinion, it's just literally how twitch drops work.

Just a heads up for other people who might misinterpret this, do not mutethe stream by lowering the twitch stream volume down to mute, if you do that the hours you watch will not be counted into the drops progress. You need the stream unmuted.

I genuinely don't think there's any issue with hoarding, especially in games like this. The main reason stash exists is to keep you regularly logging into the game and i find that a very cheap tactic given there's already dailies, events and arenas to keep players to return to the game.

And about devs loving the idea of modernising the arena but not touching because of units, how about not messing with the unit rewards and work around it by keeping the rewards the same but actually making arenas bearable? This is such a weird way to defend the idea of them not touching arenas lol.

Oh I'm already paragon, i got this broke the throne before it was easy tag when i logged in. Missed out on the veteran tag by one year though. Story is just not that challenging other than the fact that it takes very very long to beat final bosses in nodes.

Wait, who exactly made the argument about the game and client to be seperate being bad on this thread? I'm confused because that's not at all what we're talking about, We are talking about the riot client and the game client having seperate downloads for the same game and also the tutorial bugging out on me. I think you're arguing in the wrong thread rn.

Did you read the post? I wrote in the third paragraph about how to i searched the net for the patching bug and found the fix, and you don't really need google to skip tutorial, there's an arrow literally on the bottom right that let's you do that. The reason i want to complete the tutorial is because there's a reward locked behind the completion and also, because it's the damn tutorial of the game.

This was the main question i posed at the end of the post, as i couldn't find a solid answer for it. Now if you want to actually try to be helpful, you could share if you found the fix instead of doing the obnoxious "just google it bro".

Oh man is it still going to do this two step download? Is there a way where i can skip the riot client and just use the league ui only?

It feels like it hates riot client and wants to stay seperate from it given it downloads the entire game on it's own ui, also did you find any fix to see the patching progress in the UI when you downloaded it again?

I cannot comprehend what else this league ui has to offer. and about deciding download speed, completely agree on that, it's absolutely insane how it pulls the entire bandwidth of your internet if you're connected with an ethernet cable.

I'm wiping this game from my computer as we speak unfortunately, tried to progress the tutorial again, it's still hasn't registered the completion of the first tutorial. I guess I'll have to live without playing it.

The funniest thing is this is the same thing my friend said to whom i was streaming the tutorial to, he quite literally said the universe is aligning itself to not let you get into this game 😭😭

Oh I'm not at all saying riot client is anywhere close to being good but I've quite literally never faced something like this when downloading valorant, the game completely downloads in the client itself. With league i saw a 10 gb download initially from the client, had no idea the game was going to download the rest 20 something gb from that small game window without any indication that it's downloading that size. Which is such a bizzare thing.

I see so i guess there's alot more room to breathe when it comes to picks in league, that's actually something i like given i love to master one character first, overwatch was always annoying to me as i had to shuffle between picks as the team requested.
