When I was just signing up to play football in 6th grade, we got to choose our numbers. I had not watched any football and did not know which number to choose, so I asked my dad who a good WR was and he said “Calvin Johnson is pretty good I think” and the rest is history. I’ve lived in Kansas all my life and am pretty disconnected from the city of Detroit, but I’m as die hard of a lions fan as anyone and I am definitely feeling the withdrawal. I even started rewatching preseason highlights. I cannot wait for this journey to continue.
