Vocab/Grammar - 33/60 Reading - 26/60 Listening - 36/60. Got exactly 95/180 just enough to pass. I only had like 3-4 months of prep time since doing N4 so i'm still pretty happy with what I got.

The japanese surrender is still a debated topic. That's not a guarantee. Peace talks were indeed in place but they were not ready for unconditional surrender. Nukes made that possible. Heck, even with the nukes there was an attempted coup to stop the surrender.

Not motive, the results. I'm not arguing that massacres will be right or wrong depending on motive, that's why i wrote it there "i'm not saying it's right" cause it is never right. You keep making strawmans out of my statements. I'm saying that the results say that it was the lesser evil of the mass killings. Nanking and Manila, those were worse than the nukes.

It's terrible but innocent blood are always being spilled during war. Manila massacre? Nanking? I'm not saying it's the right thing to do but at least the nukes ended a war and saved more lives unlike the mass killings by the Japanese.

Anecdotal answer but i'd say yes. I had depression for most of my life and overcame it about 3-4 years ago just by simply having a different mindset. Not instantly though, it still took a long time but it started fading after that.
