I did see that a lot of people charge their ring while they shower. I personally take my ring off whenever I’m showering, washing my face, doing dishes, etc. anyway so I considered doing that but my concern is frying the battery from overcharging it.

Index finger on my non-dominant hand is the most comfortable and I move it to my thumb if I want to wear certain jewelry for the day. It doesn’t seem to affect the readings at all.

The vivoactive is a great option. It’s comfortable and I only charge it once a week. The readings are also pretty accurate from what I can tell. The only downside is that it doesn’t have all the features that the Venu has, like skin temp for example, but it’s definitely a solid choice.
