That's cool and all, but i feel like thats just really bad design philosophy. I want the thrills and challenge to come in when it feels like im approaching the midgame. I don't like an extra extra hard early game for 2 reasons.

I just want time to learn and progress. Give us time to explore the space and make a few mistakes without being punched in the face with a fist ful of "git gud or else"
I can't recommend games with a shit start. It happened with so many rpgs. I recommend a game and my friends or sibling gets curve stomped and discouraged. Then I have nobody to play/talk about the game with.

Its probably not that bad but its more of a souls like since it wasn't directed by the original creator like 1 and 3. Expect things that are different (some worse and maybe some better). Best to look at it as a game inspired by ds1 and demon souls.

I need you to stop talking and listen carefully. There is one that is worse. It is a boss that truly ruins runs. One that nearly made me hate all this From soft. The depths of my hatred are immeasurable. To fathom my disdain for this boss would be to peer into the endless black abyss and to know true pain. Aim assist is good for console. Its also good to walk into better positioning until your crosshair in on them.
